We know that cleansing and removing make-up are essential to keep our skin looking healthy. But with so many types to choose from, it’s not always easy to decide which cleanser is best. So, follow our tips to find the cleansers and make-up removers best suited to your needs and preferences.
Micellar water: Ideal for busy lifestyles
The secret of the great cleansing power of micellar waters is the micelles they contain. These cleansing agents are hard to beat when it comes to capturing all impurities (excess sebum, traces of pollution, make-up, etc.) that build up on the skin’s surface. Micellar water has a fresh and light texture and removes make-up without rinsing. It’s a perfect choice for busy lifestyles as it can be used on both the face and eyes. Simply soak a cotton pad with your micellar water and wipe it gently over your face. You can leave the cotton pad over each eye for a few seconds to dissolve make-up without rubbing. Repeat until the cotton pad is completely clean.
Milk: For ultimate comfort
Do you prefer a non-foamy texture? Then cleansing milk is an ideal choice, especially if you like a sensation of comfort, enveloping your skin. You can apply cleansing milk with a cotton pad or with your fingertips in small circular motion for an even gentler feel. To remove all traces of make-up, finish with a toning lotion or spray a toning mist over your skin. Then wipe it off with a cotton pad or handkerchief.

Oil: Expert in tackling stubborn make-up
Cleansing oil is the ideal way to gently remove resistant and/or waterproof make-up. The oil’s rich content of fatty substances helps to dissolve make-up. Its silky and comfortable texture feels very pleasant to massage over your face. On contact with water, it transforms into a lotion to allow easier rinsing. Quick, pleasant and effective, we can’t give this a much higher praise!
Gel and foam: Maximum freshness!
Gel and foam cleansers are very popular with people who prefer rinsing with water and like a light, refreshing feeling on their skin. They’re ideal if you’re in a hurry. Just take your cleanser into the shower with you for a clean and fresh skin in a splash. If you’re worried about the drying effects of limescale in the water, you can spray a toning mist over your skin after rinsing.
